Dan, Jessica and their team were excellent. The deck remodel was professional every step of the way. We evaluated five different proposals and theirs was the best. Our one concern was lack of a long history with decks, but they addressed that concern and delivered. It was also helpful that they posted photos of ongoing progress for our benefit as we were out of the area. We think it was also beneficial that the firm’s ownership was personally involved every step of the way.

We recently hired Valer Builders to completely transform our outdoor spaces, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They replaced a retaining wall, removed and rebuilt our deck, and added a beautiful concrete patio in the backyard. On top of that, they gave our front porch a major upgrade—replacing the fascia on six columns, lowering the ceiling, and installing new lighting that looks fantastic.

From start to finish, the Valer team was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Their communication was excellent, and the quality of their work really shows. Best of all, the project stayed on budget with no surprise costs, which gave us peace of mind throughout the process.

There was a delay on the porch remodel due to an issue with the supplier/manufacturer that was outside of Valer’s control. While it pushed the timeline back by months, Dan and his team handled it with professionalism and patience. They kept us updated, were always responsive, and worked diligently to get everything resolved the right way.

We’re thrilled with how everything turned out and would absolutely recommend Valer Builders to anyone looking for a contractor that delivers great work, honest pricing, and a team you actually enjoy having around your home.

Dan and his crew completed a 400 ft.² deck for me. They did an outstanding job on the deck itself, but what really mattered to me was the communication about what iwas going on.The boatload of pictures of the progress was a plus.I would highly suggest Valer deck & patio. During a weekend storm, one of our fence panels came down. Dan was very responsive and was able to get to our house and put the panel back up within 48 hours as well as provide a quote for additional work. I appreciate that he’s also been very transparent in recommending various levels of scope based on our situation as opposed to simply recommending a wholesale replacement. Dan and his team did an amazing job installing an exterior back door with a small landing and steps down to our back patio. Like most things in life, there were a few bumps in the road; some material delivery delays and then a weather delay, but Dan was very communicative every step of the way, something we really appreciated. They took care of everything from scheduling the survey that needed done in order to get the building permit, to the removal of every bit of debris possible and the quality of their work and the materials they use is top of the line. I would recommend them to anyone and would absolutely use them again!

“We had 3 estimates that fluctuated in cost so it was really hard to determine what we were paying for!
